The ATTO iPBridge™ 1500D is an iSCSI-to-SCSI bridge that offers organizations an affordable solution for connecting their existing SCSI-based Direct-Attached-Storage (DAS) solutions over an Ethernet network. Additionally, the iPBridge 1500D makes the process of developing a new Storage Area Network (SAN) easier through the use of existing Ethernet IP technology. Performance of the bridge is optimized through the utilization of ATTO intelligent Bridging Archecture™, while ATTO SpeedWrite™ efficiently queues outstanding write commands to enhance the throughput of the bridge. An additional feature of the 1500D, ATTO ExpressNAV™ management software, is an easy-to-use browser based GUI that provides remote configuration, management and diagnostic capabilities. The result is a low-cost storage router interface for SCSI that helps companies significantly improve the return-on-investment on their storage devices. Existing IT expertise is leveraged by allowing companies to operate in a more familiar and cost-friendly IP SAN. |
